NWHHI INC offers a series of courses relating primarily to the field of Herbology and the use of herbs as SUPER FOODS that assist in the balancing of IMPROVING ONES HEALTHY LIFESTYLE LIVING AND IN BALANCING THE BODY MIND AND SPIRIT along with incorporating courses pertaining to utilizing natural modalities for assessments.
NWHHI INC emphasizes the holistic approach and is designed to develop an understanding of a variety of therapeutic options, expanding on the remedial and building effects of herbals – super foods - to the preventative and rebuilding effects of a full supplementation program for the individual.
Classroom time will vary per program up to a maximum of 35 hours of classroom time depending on the course requirement. In addition each program is based on $950.00 Tuition Fee per course or less. This does not include S/H, Books, Modules, Course Materials, Texts, Taxes, Exam Fees and Certificate fees – these are additional fees to the Tuition Costs.
Students taking INTRODUCTION TO HERBOLOGY and/or MATERIA MEDICA will learn that Herbology is the study of plants, weeds, barks, trees, roots, and what effect they have on the living body. Over 150 herbs and herbal combinations and Chinese combinations will be studied. Students will also be taught by using herbs from a company (Nature’s Sunshine) that supplies over 200 products. Nature’s Sunshine was founded in 1972 and to date their products are available in over 40 countries.
The studying of herbology is stimulating, rewarding and interesting. The plant kingdom is a rich and abundant resource for anyone interested in improving on ones healthy lifestyle of living and in health prevention. The key is in understanding the role of herbal actions in maintaining health and allowing the body to work at healing itself. Modern physiology provides insights regarding homeostasis the body’s process of maintaining a stable environment. It is clear that herbs used effectively will support this natural balancing. A holistic approach is emphasized throughout NWHHI INC programs. Our Health Education Programs have been designed to develop an understanding of a variety of therapeutic options, expanding on the remedial and building effects of herbals. Students taking the Introduction to Herbalism program will learn the historical uses and how to make tinctures, decoctions, infusions, salves, and herbal teas. They will study the philosophy and history of herbal lineages such as; Historical and Traditional Herbalism passed down from our forefathers, Folkloric, Wise Woman Tradition, Culinary Herbs and Medicinal Herbs, including basic and advanced botanical remedies.
The successful student will emerge with a solid base of practical nutrition, effective supplementation and comprehensive holistic knowledge. These coupled with other courses that are available such as IRIDOLOGY MADE SIMPLE, CHINESE CONSTITUTIONAL THERAPY, ANATOMY PHYSIOLOGY, PATHOLOGY AND Client ASSESSMENT STUDIES are all part of our Holistic Educational Training available. Students will receive a certificate of completion with each course they have taken indicating the studies completed, time allotted and passing grade if applicable. At any time a student may request a LETTER OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from NWHHI INC listing all of the courses they have completed with Nature’s Way Herbal Health Institute Inc.
Throughout our NWHHI INC programs students will attain a special competence in incorporating nutritional supplementation into healthy lifestyles together with comprehensive understanding of the functions of the human body and the effects of single and combined herbs and their modes of action along with tips on running their own consulting business. The primary emphasis throughout all of NWHHI INC programs is the use of herbs as super foods utilizing their therapeutic agents and incorporating them into ones lifestyle of healthy living. The student will also learn methods of assessment of current health status and administering and monitoring the effectiveness of appropriate health programs and learn to understand that the bodies’ health includes bringing about the harmony of body, mind and spirit.
NWHHI INC EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS are designed for the individual with "Alternative Health Care" in mind. Graduates from these programs are earning their living in their own Consulting Businesses, Shops, Offices; others work in Health Food Stores, Chiropractor and Drs. Offices and much work in the field of sales as Sales Representatives for other companies and many take the program for personal use.
As of June 1st 2009 all Nature’s Way Herbal Health Institute Inc. students are required to have a Zyto Compass Reader as part of their training tools. The Zyto Compass will be utilized throughout most of NWHHI INC programs and will be utilized as part of the assessing techniques. The Zyto Compass Reader requires a Laptop Computer and an applicable- preferably portable printer. The Zyto is the latest technology that has been designed to assist families in their personal health journey and practitioners to become successful in their businesses. This is state of the arc technology and we are proud to be able to present it to the NWHHI INC students. Zyto technology does not treat cure or diagnose. It is a tool designed to assist the individual in finding the body’s preferences for any list of items. This information is then used to make better decisions about ones personal health preference for nutritional supplements. The Cost for this equipment is additional to the Nature’s Way Herbal Health Int. Inc. fee structures and is solely the student’s expense.

Please Note: If Liability Insurance is required then Liability Insurance during any programs taken from NWHHI INC is the responsibility of the student. All students and students that have completed NWHHI INC programs must ensure at all times that they are following their Provincial and National rules and regulations in their Country pertaining to any courses they have taken through NWHHI INC and a reminder that NWHHI INC programs are educational programs only and are not meant to diagnose or treat diseases. One should at all times consult with a qualified practitioner before embarking on any program.
Non Payment Plan Each Module is based on $950.00 Tuition fees or less, $150. 00 Non refundable registration fee $125.00. Exam/Grading & Certificate fees. & $100.00 SH & applicable taxes are extra. If classroom time is required for each program taken then classroom time per program is up to a maximum of 35 hours depending upon the program requirements. The cost of the Zyto Compass and the monthly licensing fees pertaining are additional costs and are the full responsibility of the students along with any other materials they may require throughout any of the programs they take.

All students and graduates of NWHHI INC programs are responsible for any costs incurred for their exam costs, and any materials that have not be allotted. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Examination: After the completion
of each Course offered students are required to complete a 2-hour
closed book exam unless otherwise stated in the course
requirements. When a passing grade is indicated this Institute
before issuing a Certificate of Completion requires an
overall-passing grade of 70%. Students are responsible for any
Proctor costs that may be incurred. In some of the programs offered herbal supplies are required. - should students need to purchase herbal supplies for the making of their salves, tinctures, infusions, crèmes etc. the costs are the responsibility of the student. Students are also required to be a part of a company called Nature’s Sunshine that provides 37 years of top quality Herbal Supplementation Products.
All NWHHI INC programs emphasize the Holistic Approach and are designed to develop an understanding of a variety of therapeutic options expanding on the remedial and building effects of herbals to the preventative and rebuilding effects of full supplementation programs.
**Periodically NWHHI INC may use samples of homework, reports, case studies, Iridology pictures etc for the enhancing of the teaching of the programs set forth by this Institute. At no time will the students/client name be left on said materials unless pre authorization has been issued to NWHHI INC
Registration: Students may register for the program(s) offered at any time through out the year unless otherwise specified. Nature’s Way Herbal Health Institute Inc. may decline enrollment if a student does not meet registration requirements. At time of registration a non-refundable registration fee of $150.00 will apply.

THE ZYTO COMPASS READER can be utilized to STANDARDIZE YOUR OWN SPECIAL HEALTH Assessment PROGRAM UTILIZING NATURES SUNSHINE HERBS.
The ZYTO COMPASS READER is a simple KISS PROGRAM that WORKS. YOUR CLIENT just places their hand on the hand cradle and the COMPUTER PICKS UP THE NEGATIVE IMBALANCES AND THEN PRINTS OUT THE PROGRAM YOUR CLIENT SHOULD BE ON. In addition it then lists all the Natures Sunshine Herbs that are required and with all the information telling you about the product in general. This along with utilizing your Assessment tools then gives you a complete program for your client. You then print off a report or email to your client and WRITE UP THEIR PROGRAM. Students taking the NWHHI Herbal Consultant program are required to utilize their Zyto Scanner a minimum of 2 times a week and review the case assessment along with studying the program that the client has indicated. When clients go on programs it is imperative for the student to follow up and review the results and testimonies received and record them to their case studies aspect of their program. This is considered part of their practicum hours aspect of their program.
The cost for this wonderful product is only $399.00 US & S/H and there is a monthly fee of $39.95 US to maintain your licensing etc. All costs for the Zyto Compass and licensing fees are additional costs to the students program and is not the responsibility of Natures Way Herbal Health Inst Inc. When I think of all the thousands of $,s I have spent on Bio Feed Back TOOLS etc. in my CLINIC I am in awe at the minimal cost of the Zyto Compass Reader – all you need is a lap top computer to program the Zyto Reader into and a printer to print out the program. (General information: The “PAT CD Practitioners Assessment Tools CD” is no longer available and is not included as part of the NWHHI Inc. Programs. It is outdated and does not apply.) Course Policies - Nature's Way Herbal Health Institute Inc. – Lumby BC Cost of Course as listed for each individual program is applicable. Registration fee is in addition to course costs and is non-refundable. S/H and Tuition fees vary by course. If student is not emailing in assignments another $100.00 S/H will apply. Examination/ grading fees again are applicable depending on course taken. Additional materials and supplies not included in course costs are student’s responsibility estimated at $300.00. Course fees payable upon date of registration. All payments are made in Canadian funds. All outstanding fees, materials, exam fees & gst & applicable taxes must be paid in full prior to certification, diploma and / or certificate of completion being issued. Certificates will be issued upon student costs paid in full, completion of home studies, and a passing grade of 70%. Re the Herbal Consultant and Iridologist Diploma program - a Diploma is issued upon completion of all modules and practicum and an overall passing grade of 70%.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY An enrollment may be cancelled by a student within 10 working days after the date of registration or by NWHHI Inc. if the student has not met registration requirements. The student shall receive a refund of all money paid except for the registration fee , which is non-refundable. Materials and supplies must be returned in excellent condition or a rebooking fee will apply. A 10% restocking fee will apply.
Refunds in the Cases of Withdrawal or Dismissal (I)Written notice must be provided by a student to the institution when the student withdraws, and the institution to the student where the institution dismisses a student. Where total fees have not yet been collected, the institution is not responsible for refunding more than has been collected to date.
Refunds before the program of study starts: (2) (a) If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution less than seven (7) calendar days after the contract is made, and before the start of a program of study, the institution may retain the NRRF and lesser of 10% of the total fees due under the contract or $100. (25% or $400.00 international students) (b) Subject to subsection (2) (a), if written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution thirty (30) calendar days or more before the start of a program of study, the institution may retain the NRRF and l0% (25% international students) of the total fees due under the contract. (c) Subject to subsection (2) (a), if written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution less than thirty (30) calendar days before the start of a program of study the institution may retain the NRRF 20% (40% international students) of the total fees due under the contract.
Refunds after the program of study starts: (3) (a) If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution, or a student is dismissed within 10% of the program of study’s duration, the institution may retain the NRRF, S/H and 30% (50% International students) of the total fees due under the contract and a restocking fee of 10% of the program. Materials and supplies must be returned in excellent condition or a rebooking fee will apply.
(b) If a student withdraws or is dismissed after 10% of the program of study’s duration, no refund is required.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION POLICY Nature's Way Herbal Health Institute Inc. shall designate a staff member to review complaints, if possible someone not directly involved. The designated staff member shall request written submission from all parties concerned with a dispute. The designated staff member shall review the submissions and conduct the necessary investigation, provide a written decision, outlining the justification for the decision, to all parties involved in the dispute.
STUDENT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 18 years of age or older, a grade ten education or equivalent ability to read, write and speak English and they must have a desire to learn. Student Dismissal Policy - Students of Nature’s Way Herbal Health Institute Inc. will be required at all times to meet with the standards of the Institute. This Institute reserves the right to decline any application or student if the Institute feels it is necessary. At any time a student reflects a negative or argumentative attitude in the class room or off the premises to their instructor or other designated heads; or to the institute; disrupts a class; or does not have their fees and dues current or paid in full, whichever is applicable, may be dismissed immediately. Nature’s Way Herbal Health Institute Inc. will be allowed too make the decision if the situation calls for immediate dismissal, or 1 verbal warning and 1 written warning to the student. If the latter is taken then upon the third warning the student would be dismissed.
