The intestinal system is home to millions of friendly
bacteria that play an important part in maintaining a healthy internal environment and
immune system. Bifidophilus is a supplement that helps replenish friendly bacteria in
children. Here’s a partial list of the good things friendly bacteria do:
1) Make it difficult for unfriendly organisms like fungus and
yeast (candida) to live in the colon.
2) Normalize bowel movements.
3) Improve the ability of the immune system.
4) Help produce B vitamins and vitamin K.
5) Help produce lactose, an enzyme necessary to digest milk
products.
Ingredients: Each tablet contains sorbitol crystalline (0.527
g), mannitol (0.320g), fructose, fructooligosaccharides (dietary fibre), one billion
freeze-dried cultures of (Bifidobacterium adolescentis and B. infantis, and Lactobacillus
acidophilus and L. casei subspecies rhamnosus) and natural orange flavour. Contains no
milk, wheat, corn, soy products or preservatives.
Recommendation: Chew one tablet daily with a meal.

Herbasaurs multi-vitamins contain thirteen essential
vitamins and iron to give your child a nutritious start to each day. Each tablet is
sweetened with fructose and natural-source, lemon-lime flavour in a base of bioflavonoids
and herbs (rose hips, choline, inositol, wheat germ and myrrh gum, kelp).
Ingredients: Vitamin A (palmitate), 2500 IU; Vitamin D3, 200
IU; Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol succinate), 15 IU; Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), 60mg;
Vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate), l mg; Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 1.5 mg; Vitamin B6
(pyridoxine hydrochloride), 1.5 mg; niacinamide, 10 mg; Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), 7.5
cmg; Folic Acid, 0.2 mg; Biotin, 0.15 mg; Pantothenic Acid, 5 mg and Iron(ferrous
fumarate), 2.5 mg. All in an base of choline, inositol, wheat germ, rose hips concentrate,
kelp, and myrrh gum. Sweetened with fructose. Flavoured with natural-source lemon-lime
flavour.
Recommendation: Children under six take one tablet with a
meal. Children over six take two tablets daily with a meal.
