C Timed Release
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic
acid, is a water-soluble substance, which must be obtained from dietary
sources. Although vitamin C occurs naturally in fresh, raw fruits and vegetables,
cooking can destroy vitamin C content in foods.
Bioflavonoids enhance the absorption
of vitamin C. Bioflavonoids are used extensively in the treatment of athletic
injuries because they relieve pain, bumps, and bruises. Bioflavonoids act
synergistically with vitamin C to protect and preserve the structure of
capillaries.
